About

Rosamaria DeFrancisco

Rosamaria helps clients navigate young family legal planning, estate planning, elder care planning, estate administration, guardianship and litigation-related issues. She works to protect her clients’ assets, structure wealth succession plans, and litigate cases when it’s necessary to achieve equitable results. She finds it rewarding to provide proper legal guidance and good counsel during what is often a stressful period in someone’s life or in the life of a loved one.

To aide clients with creating the appropriate plan for their goals, Rosamaria utilizes legal vehicles, such as Powers of Attorney, Irrevocable Trusts, Revocable Trusts, Supplemental Needs Trusts, Disclaimer Trusts, Last Wills and Testament, and Powers of Appointments. Also, as a parent, she conveys to clients the importance of having a strategy in place, which provides structure in a child’s life should there be a catastrophic event involving their parents. She regularly appears in Supreme Court and before the Surrogate during various legal proceedings such as probate, administration, guardianships, turnover proceedings and accounting proceedings.

Bilingual in Italian and English, Ms. DeFrancisco’s Italian-speaking clients appreciate her ability to translate and simplify complex legal matters. Proteggere i sacrifici della famiglia e i beni sono due delle cose piu’ importanti nella vita.

Daniel J. Costello

Clients often want to know if they will be able to speak with their attorney after they retain him or her. Too often, clients are shuffled over to a secretary when they call or an inexperienced associate. Daniel prides himself on being accessible to his clients. Each client receives his cell phone number and they are encouraged to contact him when they have concerns, need an update or maybe just that occasional reassurance.

He is a graduate from St. John’s Law School (1992), who has successfully tried many cases in each borough of New York City, Nassau County and Suffolk County, over the past 30 years. His litigation skills lend themselves to a broad range of matters, including Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate matters, Foreclosure Defense and Eminent Doman/Condemnation Defense.

Prior to entering law school, Daniel cultivated a successful business in Canarsie, Brooklyn. He brings that common sense business approach to each and every client’s case.

Most importantly, you will get a client-focused approach where you are the center of attention and not just another item on the assembly line.
